CAN BPA MAKE YOU FAT?

QUOTE:
"One of the most common of these obesogens, as they have become known,
is bisphenol A, commonly known as BPA,
the ubiquitous chemical found in everything
from the lining of cans
to the paper that most receipts are printed on.
Research suggest that it's in the urine of upwards of
90 percent of Americans - evidently at levels high enough to cause harm."

Quote from:
In September 2010, Canada became the first country to declare BPA a toxic substance.
In the
European Union and Canada, BPA use is banned in baby bottles.

MILKING THE HOUSING CRISIS

Quote:
"While renting out houses has typically been the province
of mom-and-pop landlords,
it should come as no surprise that Wall Street wants in.
For years, a glut of foreclosures has suppressed home prices
even as tighter lending standards and a sluggish economy
have kept many buyers away.
Banks, meanwhile, still sit on huge "shadow" inventories of
foreclosed and abandoned properties,
which means fewer places for people to live.
The result of all this is a red-hot rental market—primed for speculation."
End Quote.

DANGEROUS FELONS TAME WILD HORSES

QUOTE:
He repeatedly tries to touch the mustang,
captured three days ago, but it recoils violently,
slamming its rear hooves
into a wooden backstop with thunderous force.
It grunts and snorts,
and like a medieval dragon
expels foggy plumes from its nostrils,
its hot breath condensing in the crisp morning air.
Other times it surges forward and bluff-charges,
or gallops in furious circles
.

STUDENT LOANS - ABUSIVE DEBT COLLECTORS

Having kids or grandkids in college incurring
vast sums of debt is going to be part of

"The Golden Years".
LINKS TO STORIES:
US employs Vinnie the kneecapper
to collect student debt
Jodi Romine took out $74,000 in student
loans
to help finance her business-management degree
at Kent State University in Ohio.
What seemed like a good investment will delay her
career, her marriage and decision to have children.

NOTE:
US student loan debt, which stands at over $1 trillion,
increases by $40-50 billion (!!) each month
(or $500-$600 billion per year).
Of this debt 27% is 30 days or more delinquent.
Student debt exceeds the total credit card debt in the US.
