 first transcontinental highway.
It was conceived in 1913 specifically

 with the automobile in mind.
The highway paved the way for the

 development of a nationwide highway network.

CREATING AND SHAPING OBJECTS WITH 3D PRINTING

3D printing also called "Additive Manufacturing" is
a process of making three dimensional solid objects
from a digital model.
3D printing is accomplished by using additive processes.
An object is created by laying down
successive layers of material.
3D printing is different from traditional
machining techniques
which remove material by drilling, cutting etc.
(subtractive processes).
